Charity Activities in Puerto Vallarta
I will like to start explaining a little bit about a beautiful project. A few months ago I meet this great guy named Charlie who rescue dogs and was taking care of them out of his pocket, unfortunately they ended up being so many dogs that he couldnt afford it anymore so we started to do some events to raise money for this dog shelter and we also started doing what we call "Dog Wash" when Charlie broke his arm and was not able to give over 30 dogs a bath. We had many volunteers and this event became very popular, it was a great way to know Charlie, this project and most important its a great opportunity to spend a few hours with these beautiful angels.

There are many other shelters here in PV but most of them they either have some kind of finalcial help and/or are supported by big brands or companies.
So if you really want to help a place that really needs your help I will say help these beautiful angels. Any kind of help for these dogs is welcome, you can volunteer in the Dog Wash, you can bring dog food, you can adopt one of these angels, or if you prefer you can donate $. Whatever works for you I am sure Charlie will really appreciate it.

International Friendship Club Home Tour
For over thirty years the IFC Home Tours has provided one of the most enjoyable activities visitors to Puerto Vallarta can experience.
(November to March)
We meet every Tuesday and Wednesday. Ticket sales begin at 9:am at the Sea Monkey Restaurant on the South Malecon

Tour departs at 10:30 sharp. Tickets can be purchased in advance online, they are also available the day of tour in cash, Pesos only, but seating is limited.

Corazon de Nina Humanitarian Tour
Lunch and Tour at
Corazón de Niña Shelter
Every Tuesday from November to March, from 10 am – 12 noon, we welcome visitors to Corazón de Niña.
Visitors enjoy a guided tour of the Corazón facility, hear the story of Corazón, and engage in discussion with the other visitors and staff.
A delicious brunch is offered as part of every tour. The brunch is prepared by our Corazón family. We value these opportunities to empower our youth through life skills training.
Tour and Brunch – $200 MXN per person (minimum donation).

Cafe Roma´s Kids
This is not a tour but a great way to support a good cause. The restaurant Cafe Roma besides having great food, every Saturday between 2pm-3pm approx they have the Kids from the Volcanes Project and they give them pizza, drinks and candy while these kids enjoy some cartoons on the screens. You are welcome to volunteer and put a smile in these angels´s faces.
There is also a special Tip Jar in the restaurant and all the money they collect they give it each week to the director of the Volcanes Project.
