Which Waterpark is better? Aquaventures or Splash?
This tip is dedicated to all my cruise ship pasengers🚢 and for the people that like waterparks.
I realized that the cruise passengers are the ones that are more interested in waterparks for whatever reason. (more than hotel guests). I get this question often so thats why I am sharing my experiences in both waterparks. I am not here to say this one is better than the other one. I think both spots have "their good and bad" and at the end of the day the decision is totally up to you.
First I will talk about the things that are very similar in both spots. They are both in Nuevo Vallarta and pretty close to eachother. They both offer sea lion and dolphin shows. They both offer drinks, food and snacks for sale inside the waterpark. They have similar opening and closing times. Splash 10am-7pm and the Aquaventures 10am-6pm (high season) OR 11am-5pm (low season).
What makes them different?
🔵Aquaventures - Entrance fee for me as a local the last time I went it cost me like $200mx pesos (around $12usd) NO FOOD OR
DRINKS INCLUDED *Just entrance*
🔴Splash - Entrance fee for me as a local the last time I went it cost me $90mx pesos (around $5usd) NO FOOD OR DRINKS INCLUDED *Just entrance*
🔵Aquaventures - They dont allow you to access with food or drinks.
🔴Splash - They allow you to access with food or snacks (no drinks)
🔵Aquaventures - They have the "lazy river"
🔴Splash - They have an Aquarium.
🔵Aquaventures - They have zipline, climb wall and obstacle course area
🔴Splash - They have the Splash Inn hotel
✳️My favorite thing from each waterpark
☑️Aquaventures - The Lazy River
✅Splash - The fact that you can access with food/snacks
