Resort Day Pass 🏨

Another question that I get pretty often is about "Resort Day Pass" and I honestly dont understand why🤔 I guess there is some wrong information online that only "some hotels offer day passes" when its totally not true. Most of the hotels offer "Day Pass" service, its a win win situation for any hotel so I dont see why a hotel owner will not want to offer this type of service. Anyways back to the subject...

I will not be providing any hotel names because that its not what I do, I just share my personal experience with all of you, I give you my recommendations and its totally up to you which way to go.

 

If you want to buy a day pass the first thing that you need to know is that there are normally 2 types of "day passes" the EP (just facilities) 🏖️ and the AI (All Inclusive) 🍔the best option is totally up to you and your budget 💵

 

EP DAY PASS - The good thing about the day passes that include "just the facilities" is that they are very cheap and in a lot of cases the money that you paid can be used for food and drinks (in some hotels) in other hotels you pay as you go for your food and drinks, this is a great option for the people that dont drink or just drink a little bit. I have seen day passes as low as $200pesos (around $12usd).

 

AI DAY PASS - The good thing about the day passes that are "all inclusive" is that they include breakfast, lunch, snacks and the open bar of course. This is a great option if you drink a lot. In most of the cases they will also provide you a "towel-card" that can be used near the pool to exchange it for a towel so you dont have to carry one from home. The last time that I enjoyed an AI day pass was last year and it cost around $900pesos (around $50usd) but each hotel is different, some will charge a little more, or a little less.

 

✴️My Recommendations✴️

✔️If you have kids choose a hotel that has a great "kids club" and kids pool that way all of you will have a great time without having to worry about your kids to much.

✔️Arrive as early as you can specially if your day pass is AIl Inclusive so you can enjoy the facilities, food and drinks to the fullest. Normally the day passes are from 9am-5pm

✔️If you are going to an EP Day Pass bring your towel or you can ask when making your booking if you need to.
