A Mangrove in the middle of PV? (ESTERO El SALADO)
This week i will like to show you how you can have fun and help a great cause. The entrance to this place is a little hidden so a lot of the people really miss it while passing by, thats why I created these maps (above)
This place is around the area close to Waltmart and Sams in PV so if you are coming from the PV area (old town, downtown, hotel zone) the bus stop is walking distance from the entrance as you can see in one of the images.
If you are coming from the northside of PV (Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, Sayulita, and other parts of Nayarit) you just tell the driver to drop you off at "Plaza Iguana" this bus stop is next to the "Hospital Naval" and right across from "Estero El Salado" as you can see in the map (above)
The entrance fees are very accesible the last time that I went it cost around $10USD, so right now it could be a little bit more. Remember that this is a protected area and it operates only with the money they get from the entrance fees so if you can and you feel like it please leave them a good tip so this place can continue operating and will not disappear.
To know more information about this place, the tours, times, all of their contact information so you can make the reservation please visit their website http://www.esterodelsalado.org/index.…/home-estero-el-salado
