Whats the cheapest way to get to El Tuito?

What is the cheapest way to get there?💵

This tour is sold in the tour companies from $70-$300USD depending if its public or private tour however if you are coming on a budget or just interested in saving some $$ Depending on what hotel or what zone you are staying, it can cost you as low as $10USD per person.

"El Tuito" bus is the one that takes you to this cute little mexican town and you can catch him in the corner or Aguacate & Venustiano Carrranza streets in the old town area (right across from a Kiosko) It passes every 30 minutes and the bus doesnt have a color in specific just check that it says "El Tuito" or you can just ask the driver. *see image* The bus ride is around $30mx pesos(2usd) + your personal expenses (food, drinks, souvenirs, etc.)

If you are staying in Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, Punta de Mita, etc. You need to get a bus to Puerto Vallarta and in the old town area you get the "tuito bus".

If you are staying in any other part of PV you just need to get a bus to the old town area and here catch the "tuito bus"

I like to promote this place because the local people in El Tuito have told me that they receive a lot of visitors in the "high season" (winter time) however in the "low season" it gets pretty slow and I think its important to support them all year long since the bills dont stop when the high season is over. So please take that into consideration and you will have a chance to experience a beautiful, traditional, mexican town, the people were friendly and the food was great.

✳️My Recomendations:

✅1.- If you are looking for a great place to relax with wifi you can go to "El Tuito Cafe" in the main plaza the girl in charge of it is very helpful and great customer service.

✅2.- If you like art (like me) please make a stop at "Casa de la Cultura" in the main plaza, the murals are amazing and dont forget "Galeria Coppelia" beautiful gallery.

✅3.- The church is near the main plaza as well and its really traditional and beautiful.

✅4.- If you go please dont forget to support local businesses and stop by with "Martha de la panaderia" this lady makes yummy sweet bread with firewood. "Queso el Piojo" this is another family business that makes all kind of delicious cheese. You can ask anybody from this town knows them and can let you know where their houses are. #supportlocals

✅5.- Bring your sunscreen, cap/hat, sunglasses, a bottle of water and comfortable shoes since you will be doing a lot of walking. Oh by the way dont forget your camera its a beautiful place to take a lot of pictures.
