Cruise ship time vs Local time? (cruise passengers)
I am going to be sharing all my travel tips for cruise ship passengers, if this is your first time traveling as a cruise ship passenger you cannot miss it.
The biggest regrets that I noticed people have is that the cruise ship passengers are not aware of the difference between "Cruise Ship Time" and "LOCAL TIME". Cruise ship time is the time where the ship departs from (example: Los Angeles, Florida, Texas, etc.) LOCAL TIME is the time of the place where you are going, in this case Puerto Vallarta. Why is this so important? Because if you dont get that clear out you can either miss a tour or miss your cruise ship.

A lot of cruise ships change their time to local time, but others dont, that is why I dont recommend that you assume that your cruise line will do it and better get the correct information from the Local Puerto Vallarta Harbor Master`s Website http://www.puertodevallarta.com.mx/calendario-de-arribos
In this page you will find on your left side where it says in red letters "Arribos 2016", you download that document and you will be able to look at all the cruise ships arriving to Puerto Vallarta and the LOCAL TIME that they are going to be arriving and departing. That is the Government`s Website.

***if you are arriving to Cabo and Mazatlan you can also contact me and I will be more than happy to share with you their Government Harbor Masters` Website so you can see the correct LOCAL TIME that your ship will be arriving to port, remember that all tours run in LOCAL TIME (not cruise time).***

Please take all of this in consideration prior you booking any tour or activity from any tour company or travel agent.
A lot of companies dont care about checking that for you, they just want to sell you the tour and they dont care to check if you are able to make it or not or if its within the hours that you are in port, so please be very careful with we dont want you to miss your tour or ship.
In the case of the tours that I offer since they are all private services my groups can start and end the tour anytime they want.
Prior making any booking I personally check all the posibilities to be 100% sure that you are able to do the tour prior purchasing it.
For cruise ship passengers I do require that all the booking are done NO LATER THAN 1 WEEK PRIOR the day of the tour. When you are still in your house and if there is anything that we need to clear out with you we will still be able to reach you by phone or email since we know that when you are coming on a cruise ship its kind of difficult. Thanks for understanding that we are just looking out for you.
